Introducing “Rambling in Robo”

Robinson Hall, affectionately known as “Robo”, is the home of the Dartmouth Outing Club and the First-Year Trips Program

As you’ll soon learn, Robinson Hall – home to the Dartmouth Outing Club – is affectionately known as “robo.”  It’s a GIANT building and the DOC occupies the basement and parts of the first floor.

The Dartmouth Outing Club, of which the First-Year Trips Program is a part of, has some prime real estate on campus as Robo is pretty much in the center of campus life.  During the Trips program, Robo serves as our headquarters, but for now, we are working hard in our tastefully decorated (thanks Farzeen!) office in Robo 103.

P.S. If you find yourself in the Hanover area this summer, stop by & say hello!

All this aside, I’d like to introduce a series of posts for the next few months entitled “Rambing in Robo” (creative, I know).  We’ll be posting updates regarding the planning & organizing of DOC Trips…so look forward to occasional news, random thoughts, and excitement from the directorate!  As always, the DOC First-Year Trips website will always be your #1 source for logistical information & details, so keep an eye out for dates & details, but we know many of you are anxious to arrive this Fall, so we’ll do our best to keep you in the loop with what we’re up to this summer!
