Joe Chance ’13 is from Lafayette, Louisiana

What DOC Trip are you leading this fall?

I am leading a hiking trip on Mt. Cube & Mt. Smarts.

What are you studying?

I’m majoring in economics with a minor in psychology.

What DOC Trip did you go on?

I did a hiking trip and we got to hike Mt. Moosilauke.

3 words that describe your first year at Dartmouth…

Radical. Exciting. Mononucleosis.

Why are you excited for DOC Trips 2012?

DOC Trips 2012 are going to be excellent because the ’16s have so many opportunities ahead of them and hiking makes you happy!

The best or worst advice you received during your first-year at Dartmouth…

Best: Hang out, get involved.  And go to office hours.

What kind of animal would you want to be?

Flying squirrel.

Favorite Dartmouth memory so far?

Too many to say.

The one item you forgot to pack when you came to Dartmouth…

N64 & Gamecube.

Your ideal Saturday afternoon at Dartmouth…

Trail run, swimming, enjoying trees, canoeing, fishing, grilling outside, with some casual badminton thrown in there somewhere.
