Formative, unexpected, unforgettable
Why are you excited for DOC First-Year Trips 2014?
Being a FYT leader is always one of the highlights of my year; being able to be a role model for so many eager faces is an honor. I also have some selfish motives; it rekindles my love for Dartmouth, all while enjoying the beautiful surrounding outdoors that our school has to offer.
What’s your favorite thing to eat on campus?
General Tso’s at the Hop
What has been the highlight of your time at Dartmouth thus far?
Literally all of it–but if I had to choose, the activities and adventures I’ve had with friends in the outdoors; whether it’s a sunrike or canoe ride to Gilman.
What was the most important item you forgot to pack before coming to Dartmouth to move in?
Decorations, pictures, souvenirs from back home to remind you where you came from and what you’re here for; it’s easily forgotten in the wilderness of the White Mountains.
What’s your ideal Saturday afternoon at Dartmouth?
Depends on the term, but if the sun is out, playing some volleyball on the Green with the team, canoeing to go rope swinging, then eating a delicious off campus meal.
What piece of advice would you give to incoming freshman?
Freshman fall is a time of year to meet people, get acquainted with the school, and most importantly begin finding your next home for the next four years.
