What is your role for Trips 2015?

I am on a support croo.

What do you like to study?

Engineering

If you went on a DOC Trip, which trip did you go on?

Mountain biking

What are 3 words that describe your first year at Dartmouth?

Learning, laughter, surprises

What are you looking forward to for Trips 2015?

Each year on trips, whether as a trippee, leader, or now a croo member, I get to see a different piece of Dartmouth, of the program, and all the amazing people who are involved. I am so excited to meet the ’19s and help them find new friends, new passions, and hopefully a new home.

What were you most nervous or scared about before your own first-year trip (or if you didn’t go on a trip, before the start of your time at Dartmouth)?

That I would be the only one who had no clue what I was doing.

What is your favorite thing to eat on campus?

Collis smoothie + chocolate chip scone = perfection

Tell us about a highlight of your time at Dartmouth so far.

I Hanover FSP’d (stayed on campus during my off term) this past winter and finally got to get involved with people and activities I never made time for when I had homework. I may not have had the most glamorous or impressive job, but I can’t think of a happier way to have spent the term.

What’s the most important item you forgot to pack when you came to move in?

Despite being from Maine, snow boots.

If you could go back to the beginning of your first year here and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?

You will leave here with people you love and things that you care about; don’t second-guess yourself and don’t stop looking if you don’t find them right away.
