Hiking 3, B66 (The Presidentials)

What are 3 words that describe your first year at Dartmouth?

Exciting, Demanding, Fast

What are you looking forward to for Trips 2015?

I am looking forward to meeting 19s, spending some time in the wilderness, sharing what I love about Dartmouth with other people, and eating Annie’s Mac.

What were you most nervous or scared about before your own first-year trip (or if you didn’t go on a trip, before the start of your time at Dartmouth)?

I was most nervous about hiking with a heavy pack – I had never backpacked overnight before and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it.

What is your favorite thing to eat on campus?

Collis pasta!

Tell us about a highlight of your time at Dartmouth so far.

Over Winter Carnival, I did the Polar Plunge with two of my trippees and jumped into Occom Pond when it was -4 degrees air temperature outside. It was crazy and FREEZING, but really awesome!

What’s the most important item you forgot to pack when you came to move in?

A bike!

If you could go back to the beginning of your first year here and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?

You WILL make friends and Dartmouth WILL be awesome; you just have to give it some time.
