What is your role for Trips 2015?

I am a member of a support croo

What do you like to study?

Every class I’ve taken in the computer science department has been my favorite!

If you went on a DOC Trip, which trip did you go on?

Canoeing

What are 3 words that describe your first year at Dartmouth?

Eye-opening, fun, sleepless

What are you looking forward to for Trips 2015?

Spending three and a half weeks in the beautiful Dartmouth Grant!

What were you most nervous or scared about before your own first-year trip (or if you didn’t go on a trip, before the start of your time at Dartmouth)?

Pooping outside! I was actually too nervous during my first-year trip (not a good feeling) but over winter break, I went on another extended trip with the DOC and now I think pooping in the out-of-doors is a very peaceful experience.

What is your favorite thing to eat on campus?

Collis smoothies! Blueberry, mango, banana, milk, yogurt, and cinnamon is my go-to recipe

Tell us about a highlight of your time at Dartmouth so far.

Although campus is beautiful all year round, some of my favorite time at Dartmouth has been spent off-campus. Notably this July, I went with a group from Ledyard to the Czech Republic to canoe the 270-mile Vltava River. We sang, struggled, and celebrated together along the river bank surrounded by beautiful scenery and incredible color.

What’s the most important item you forgot to pack when you came to move in?

If you plan to get a job on campus, you’ll need your passport or birth certificate as a form of identification. I had to get those documents mailed in.

If you could go back to the beginning of your first year here and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?

Baker-Berry isn’t the only study spot option! Search around and look for little corners of the campus that offer a great view, quiet atmosphere, large desks, and you’re golden.
