What are you looking forward to for Trips 2016?

Trips is the essence of Dartmouth. It is untainted enthusiasm, it is an incredibly supportive community, it is a spirit, pride, and strength. Everyone in the trips program– trippees and leaders alike– has the opportunity to be immersed in these qualities– I can’t wait to jump in once again.

Tell us about a highlight of your time at Dartmouth so far.

Quarter in Berlin for the German LSA. Incredible experience to be living abroad, immersed in a different culture and language for months at a time. I clicked with my host family and that made my stay fantastic.

What’s the most important item you forgot to pack when you came to move in?

I overpacked. Not necessarily recommended. Moving in and out is a hassle when you have too much sh*t.

If you could go back to the beginning of your first year here and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?

It’s okay to ask for help. The reason that Dartmouth is such an incredible place to learn is because the resources are outstanding. It is a waste not to talk to professors/fellow students/TAs, and you’re not showing weakness or lack of inability when you do talk to them. Use what you have right at your fingertips– don’t be shy!!
