What are 3 words that describe your first year at Dartmouth?
exhilarating, reflective, fun
What are you looking forward to for Trips 2016?
Getting to know the new ’20s while spending time in the amazing NH wilderness during one of the most beautiful parts of the year!
Tell us about a highlight of your time at Dartmouth so far.
The first one that comes to mind is this past 4th of July when I hiked Mount Moosilauke with a group of friends to watch the sunset from the summit, and then the fireworks going off down in the towns surrounding the mountain. It was a rad group of people and one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen, and I just kind of had one of those sudden happy, grateful realizations where I realized how lucky I am.
What’s the most important item you forgot to pack when you came to move in?
A fan– 10/10 would recommend.
If you could go back to the beginning of your first year here and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?
You’ll find your niche. Spend time doing the things you love, but don’t be afraid to get involved in new activities! Try something you’ve never done– or maybe never heard of– before; upperclassmen are really eager to share and teach the skills they’re passionate about.
